Who We Are
The Senior Adult Ministry of Hyland Heights Baptist Church.
Hyland Heights ministers to many individuals over sixty years old, some still working, and others enjoying a full retirement. While many of us have family in the area, there are many who don’t. The Senior Adult Ministry has become an extended family of sorts for those from all walks of life, and a place for you to be connected with others and have a sense of belonging.
What We Do
SERVING
Our senior adults actively serve in various ways throughout the church, including the choir, Connections, children’s ministry, adult life groups, men’s and women’s ministries, and community outreach programs. While reaching out and connecting others to our ministries is important, our senior adults also actively care for one another through phone trees, card-writing, and visitations.
PICKLEBALL
Multipurpose Center
We have a very active Pickleball program that meets in our gym. We have players of all skill levels and well attended by both members and non-members. It is a time of fun and fellowship. Stay up-to-date at hhbc.net/pickleball
YOUNG AT HEART LUNCHEON
On Campus in the Gym or off campus at certain times of the year.
Join us to fellowship, enjoy a delicious meal, and hear a special speaker or an interesting presentation. It is a covered dish meal, with the regular attendees bringing side dishes and desserts. The meat is furnished, and an offering is taken defray expenses. First time guests are welcome and do not need to bring anything but themselves.
