Who We Are
The Senior Adult Ministry of Hyland Heights Baptist Church.
Hyland Heights ministers to many individuals over sixty years old, some still working, and others enjoying a full retirement. While many of us have family in the area, there are many who don’t. Young at Heart has become an extended family of sorts for those from all walks of life, and a place for you to be connected with others and have a sense of belonging.
What We Do
SERVING
Our senior adults actively serve in various ways throughout the church, including the choir, greeting, Children’s Life Groups, adult Life Groups, men’s and women’s ministries, and community outreach programs. While reaching out and connecting others to our ministries is important, our senior adults also actively care for one another through phone trees, card-writing, and visitations.
PICKLEBALL / Mondays and Wednesdays at 12 pm, Fridays at 9 am
Multipurpose Center
We have a very active Pickleball program that meets in our gym on Mondays and Wednesdays at noon, and Friday at 9 AM. We play for 2 ½ hours and have players of all skill levels. It is well attended by both members and non-members. It is a time of fun and fellowship.

Join us to fellowship, sing a few familiar songs, and hear testimony from a special guest. *In order to protect and love our senior adults, please bring your meal with you. We will provide desserts and beverages.
