Who We Are
We provide men with opportunities to connect through various events throughout the year. We want you to have the opportunity to get to know other men in our church family and in the community.
We believe men are most vulnerable to Satan’s attacks and temptations of the flesh when we are alone. Being in community with other men is critical as we live out our faith. We do this by providing men with opportunities to grow through biblical and topical studies, and we work to provide men with the opportunity to serve in the church and community to impact our world for Christ.

What We Do
CONNECT EVENTS
We host multiple events for men to connect with others in the church in the community. For golfers, there are two annual fellowships on the Sundays before Memorial and Labor Day. Our Outdoor Ministry also hosts a Family Day in May, and we regularly host fellowships like volleyball, cornhole, chili, or wild game dinners.
BIBLE STUDY
Our real desire is for men to be in community with one another studying Scripture and living life out accountable to each other. Some standing favorites of our studies are the “33 Series” by Lifeway that unpacks biblical manhood, and the Soulcon Challenge that with an app and book that provide weekly teaching and devotionals on physical and spiritual health. Each fall and Spring we add other studies that include verse-by-verse study of the Bible.
SERVING
Men are encouraged to serve the church as well as their community. There are ministries throughout the life of the church where we are needed and called. We encourage men to fill the needed roles in the Outdoor Ministry, Fall Fun Fest, Ladies Events, and many other church-wide activities. We also host a community-wide Manger Build the first week of December.
OUTDOORSMEN 4 HIM (O4H)
O4H is the Outdoor Ministry of HHBC. We have a 500-acre hunting lease in Evington, VA. On that property we annually host “The Ultimate Family Fun Day” where we reach out and connect with our community, as well as other church-wide events. O4H has membership that enjoys hunting, fishing, camping, atv’ing, and we host the Fire Pit, a bi-monthly fellowship on Thursday nights.
