Little Sprouts Consignment is located at Hyland Heights Baptist Church, 11452 Wards Road, Rustburg, VA 24588. Proceeds from the sale will support the Preschool at Hyland Heights and will fund renovations and new equipment for the playground. Items offered at the sale include seasonal appropriate clothing, shoes, toys, games, books, baby equipment, furniture, and more! Items are competitively priced and in great condition.
Consignor Info
70% of selling price to Consignor, 30% to benefit The Preschool at Hyland Heights when consignor volunteers to work at least one 2-hour shift during the sale. Otherwise, 60% to consignor 40% to preschool without volunteering. There is a $10 consignor fee.
- Your items need to be clean, neat, and sorted by size when you arrive to drop off your items.
- Bring tagged items to HHBC Gym during your scheduled check-in drop off time in Rubbermaid tubs. These are first come first serve so sign up quickly when you register.
DROP OFF TIMES: You will select a check-in/drop off time when you register on the mysalemanager website and arrive at that specific time. Select ASAP for the best time.
- Consignors will be given a presale wrist band to come shop Friday anytime between 12:00-2:00pm.
- Pick up any unsold items on Sunday, March 23rd from 2:00-4:00pm. Any items not picked up by 4:00pm will be donated to various local charities. Everything will be donated at that time, including totes- there will be NO exceptions!
To pick up your unsold items: bring your items in a large Rubbermaid Container(s) no lids left to leave during the drop off process. WRITE YOUR NUMBER DIRECTLY ON YOUR TUB OR A PIECE OF MASKING TAPE. NO PAPER- it falls off too easily. We will pack up unsold items and place them in your bin for pickup. You must leave enough containers to fit your left-over items. If you plan to donate your items at the end of the sale you may bring your items in boxes that you do not need back. **IF items are too large to fit in a tub or box, you may carry them in at time of drop off.
- Bring a self-addressed, stamped envelope at time of drop off. This will be used to mail your proceeds at the end of the sale. Checks will be mailed to you 2 weeks after the sale ends. If you do not bring an envelope, $1.00 will be deducted from your check.
- Consignors set your own price. We suggest pricing items 1/4 -1/3 of the original price. Name brand and in good condition will sell for more. Please be mindful of overpricing. Items are to be set at a minimum price of $2.00. All items should be priced whole dollar increments (i.e $3.00, 11.00 15.00 etc.) If items are priced too high, they will not sell. Items need to be priced separately unless they are the same item, go together, or make an outfit.
- Consignors are allowed to bring a maximum of 100 tagged items, minimum of 30 items.
What can I consign?
Spring and Summer clothing sizes newborn to junior.
- Must have no stains, holes, excessive wear or odors.
- We limit some sizes due to market demand including
- Max of 30 clothing items in size Newborn-12 months
- Max of 30 clothing items in Junior sizes
Spring and Summer shoes(in clean, good condition).
- Max of 3 pairs of shoes in infant sizes 1-6
Toys, books, games, large outdoor toys, video DVDs rated G or PG.
- Items must be clean, not missing any pieces and in good working condition. Any items that require batteries must have working batteries in them.
- Max of 30 books tagged may be consigned.
- Video games must be rated E only.
- Homeschool curriculum will be accepted.
Nursery/children specific furniture
- Cribs, toddler beds, dressers, gliders, changing table, kids table & chairs, bookshelves, toy boxes etc.
- Any crib manufactured before June 28, 2011, MUST have a certificate of compliance. (Be sure to locate the sticker on the bottom of the crib and confirm the date before hauling it to drop off!)
Large baby gear:
- Exersaucers, MamaRoos, bouncy seats, strollers, swings, pack n plays, highchairs, baby gates.
What can't I consign?
We CANNOT accept the following items due to safety and/or lack of selling potential:
- Men’s and Women’s sized clothing, including Maternity clothing.
- Car seats
- Any item that is damaged, missing pieces, dirty/stained/overworn, or not in good working condition.
- Specific Baby/toddler care items- unless new in a sealed package we do not accept bathtubs, bibs, burp clothes, potty training seats, disposable diapers, pacifiers, or formula.
- Stuffed animals unless they do something for learning toys (move, sing, make noises)
- Room decor (lamps, wall hangings and pictures, curtains)
- Mattresses, pillows, or any other bedding (including comforters, blankets, sheets, bumpers, mattress pads etc.)
Prepare
- Enter items on the website. You will be given an email when tags are to be entered into the website by. Give each item a description. Describe them well so in the event that a tag falls off, we can properly match your item to the tag. Infant and children clothing- use numerical sizing (not small, medium, large etc.) Teen/Junior clothing is by XS, S, M etc.
- You will receive an email when your tags are ready to be printed from the website.
- Print your tag and pin them on your items. You must use a safety pin, no straight pins or any other item. Pin the tag on the front, right side (if looking at it) of the item. Tags should be printed on cardstock; paper tags fall off easily. Little Sprouts Consignment is not responsible for lost tags.
- Hangers must be facing left (like a ‘? Question mark’) Safety pin skirts, shorts, pants or loose items on to the top of hangers not folded so the whole item can be seen. If you pin it on the bottom part of the hanger, it will slide around making it hard to see.
- ALL clothing must be on hangers, even onesies and pjs, no clothing can be in bags.
- Place bibs, hairbows, socks, in a Ziplock bag and tape tags to the bag. Shoes can be zip tied together or in a Ziplock bag if they fit.
- Tape tags securely to toys, equipment, books etc.
- BOOKS- if bringing multiple books together, they must be in a large zip lock bag so that they don’t fall out. Please do not rubber band them together.
**Little Sprouts Consignment is not responsible for broken, lost or stolen items, switched tags or separated items. Any language or images on clothing should not conflict with the beliefs and doctrines of Hyland Heights Baptist Church. Little Sprouts reserves the right to decline any item or not put any item out that does not follow our instructions.**

You will sign up on the myconsignment website for volunteering times that are available at the time of registration. Volunteers who work at least one shift can shop at the presale on Fri. March 20th 2pm-3pm.

Our facility is located in the Hyland Heights Baptist Church building at 11452 Wards Road in Rustburg, Virginia. Hyland Heights is on route 29, approximately three miles South of the Lynchburg Regional Airport.
