Something's Happening Craft & Quilt Auction

A wide variety of handmade items are needed to make this event a success!! Prayerfully consider what you are able to contribute to the auction before committing. We ask that you notify Betty Gillespie (434)369-5762 if you are unable to keep your commitment. All items will be needed as soon as they are completed, but no later than September 10th, 2010. Items will be on display prior to the auction, and will also be described in the catalog/brochure for the event. Freestyle machine quilting is available for FREE in July for up to a 60 x 60 size quilt. (You must furnish completed quilt top batten & backing) Money raised will go towards the “Something’s Happening” Choir project. |
Relay for Life Expo

Get your name out there and help fight cancer at the same time! Event will be held on October 2nd from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm. Tables will be set up in the Multi-purpose Center. All proceeds from table rental will help to benefit the American Cancer Society Relay For Life Event next year at HHBC. Registration forms can be found at the Welcome Center and Upper Lobby. Trip to pack Operation Christmas Child Boxes

Trip to pack Operation Christmas Child Boxes at the Charlotte, NC Processing Center. Approximate cost for trip per peson is $75 to $100. Tuesday we’ll help pack OCC boxes. Optional visit to the Billy Graham Library that evening. We’ll stay at the Wingate in Charlotte that night. Wednesday, we’ll stop at Concord Mills Outlets for a short shopping trip. Sign-ups will be coming to the Upper Lobby and Welcome Center. |
